Ataque Frontal is maybe the most well known hardcore band from Peru. Formed in 1987 from the ashes of Guerrilla Urbana it was the only band that released a 7" EP on a foreign label in the '80s, their classic self titled 7" EP from 1988 on the French label New Wave Records.
