Varaus was a Finnish hardcore punk band. The band was founded in Hyrylä, Tuusula around in 1982 and released their first record, a single sided album called 1/2 in 1982 and Tuomittu Elämään 7"EP in 1983.
Later the band was based in Helsinki. The band split up in April 1985 and has never performed after that.
